WOVEN POCKETS - VINTAGE FABRICS - PATCHWORK
These unique & effortless aprons were crafted by two female Puerto Rican designers. The collaboration came about in times of a pandemic, consequently each designer worked from their respective home-based studios. Through constant communication and team work, they managed to have fun throughout the process, and achieve the end result they both desired.
These aprons are great for any maker, baker, florist or just anyone who needs to cover up when working around the workshop. With their classic silhouette, they offer comfort and versatility. The pockets allow easy tool access.
Apron was designed and sewn in Santurce, Puerto Rico by Primavera. Pockets were sewn in Bayamón, Puerto Rico by Jay RodrÃguez. Design and overall aesthetic was a complete collaboration between both designers.
The pockets are made with woven textiles, crafted in a floor loom by Puerto Rican weaver, Jay RodrÃguez. Patchwork is used to create a fusion between both designers, as well as to create unique pieces, throughout the collection.
